Film Takes £88 On Opening Weekend [NEWS]

Poor Uma Thurman.

Uma's latest film, 'Motherhood' became a target of national ridicule recently when the film made a measly £88 during its opening weekend. No more than 12 people went to see the film following its release, which is abit of a slap in the face for the film-makers seeing as they forked out $5,000,000 to make the film.

Barry Norman, renowned critic and believer of the 'lets not beat around the bush' rule told the media "The reviews were very poor indeed but that alone isn't enough to explain this. It's a reasonable assumption that there was a marketing and advertising catastrophe and people didn't know it was showing"

I do feel sorry for the film-makers considering how much time and effort went into making and releasing the film. Admittedly, i haven't seen 'Motherhood' and don't plan to. Looks like I'm part of the problem!
