Charity

Charity - Why does there always have to be a catch? Monday afternoon - A girl in my English class asks me to sponsor her and her youth club in a fundraising game of bowling. She asks me to pledge money per pin she knocks down.

Right. Realistically she's not going to get a strike every time, is she? So i decided to pledge 2p per pin she knocked down. I thought this was a pretty reasonable and intelligent price. Wrong. What she didn't tell me was that her youth club loves a good ol' game of bowling and played 5 whole games. I now owe this corrupt charity and youth club £8.
