Fact of The Day - 1

Found out today that snails can sleep for up to 3 years at a time. Doesn't attract me. Not sure why they do it either. Is it any wander we step on them when they're in such a deep slumber? I think that should stop sleeping and use their time to develop a more effective means of travelling around. Crawling on your stomach and taking your house along for the ride too can't be fun.
